Camp
Our recreational classes are organized primarily by age at the Preschool, KinderGym, and Beginner levels to ensure students are learning alongside peers in similar developmental stages.
1. Preschool: Ages 3–4.5 years
2. KinderGym: Ages 4.5–6 years
3. Beginner: Ages 6–8 years
We also offer Co-Ed Beginner classes for students ages 8+, 10+, and Teens who are new to gymnastics and fall within those older age groups.
Our Intermediate and Advanced recreational levels require completion of specific Beginner skill requirements. Students can be evaluated by a coach during their current class or through a scheduled trial class upon enrollment to determine appropriate placement.
If a student is currently enrolled and ages into the next eligible level, families are responsible for requesting enrollment and adding their student to the waitlist for that next class in order to move up.
Our Boys and Girls Developmental Teams, Team, and Xcel programs are available by invitation or tryout only. Tryout opportunities are typically announced at the conclusion of each competition season.
No, parents or guardians are not required to stay for the duration of their student’s class. You’re welcome to use that time as you wish — whether that’s running errands at nearby Costco or enjoying a walk at the nearby park or trail.
Please keep in mind that classes end at the 50-minute mark of the hour, and a parent/guardian must be present in the building for pick-up. Students are not permitted to exit the facility without their parent/guardian — we do not allow drive-by drop-offs or pick-ups.
If your child becomes injured and is unable to participate in class, please contact the office and provide a doctor’s note. We can issue Open Gym passes for the missed classes (up to 4 passes per month) while your child recovers. This allows your child’s spot in the class to remain reserved while still providing passes that can be used for Open Gym once they are ready to return to the gym.
During the summer months (June–August), if your student will miss multiple classes in a month due to travel (at least 3 classes), we can issue an Open Gym pass for each of those missed classes. This allows you to keep your child’s spot in their class while still receiving passes that can be used for Open Gym when it works for your schedule. Please contact the office in advance so we can help make the arrangements.
If your child misses a class, we can issue an Open Gym pass as a make-up option once per month.
Either contact the office before the expected absence or within 7 days of the absence. Our Open Gym sessions are held on Sundays at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The make-up pass will remain valid for 30 days from the date it is issued, so please be sure to use it within that timeframe. Please notify the office of the absence so we can add the pass to your account.
We recommend comfortable, athletic clothing that allows your child to move freely.
• Shoes: Must be removed before entering the gym floor.
• Socks: If your child wears socks, we strongly recommend grip socks to prevent slipping on mats and equipment. Coaches may ask socks to be removed if they become a safety issue.
• Clothing: Avoid buttons, zippers, or clasps to prevent pinching, injury, or damage to equipment. Loose items such as jackets or extra socks should also be avoided, as we are not responsible for lost items — especially in the foam pit.
Yes! Parents are welcome to watch classes and take photos or videos of their own child during class.
We ask that you avoid photographing or filming other students whenever possible. If you do share photos or videos publicly, please respect the privacy of other children by cropping or blurring their faces. We understand it’s not always possible to avoid other students entirely, but privacy should always be a priority.
You can sign up by visiting our website and clicking on the “Birthday Parties”(/birthdayparty) section at the top of the page. This will redirect you to a page with more information about our party packages, activities, pricing, and availability. If you have any questions or would like help with booking, you’re always welcome to reach out to our office by phone or email.
Class tuition is billed on the first day of each month. If you need to withdraw from a class, we ask that a parent or guardian notify the iFlip office at least 15 days prior to the first day of the upcoming month to avoid the next billing cycle.
If notice is given after the first day of the month, a refund cannot be issued for that month. However, your child is welcome to continue attending the class for the remainder of the month that has already been paid for.
For the quickest and most effective response, we recommend emailing us at enrollment@iflipgym.com(mailto:enrollment@iflipgym.com)
We are also available by phone at 510-529-4461, though calls may not always be answered immediately, as our office staff may be on the gym floor or away from the office. Voicemail is checked less frequently than email, so emailing is the best way to ensure a timely response.
Office hours:
• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
Yes! We offer trial classes for $31 for students who are either waitlisted and offered enrollment or in classes with ongoing availability. Registration is not required for a trial.
Please note that students are still subject to waitlists and class availability for trial classes. If your student attends a trial and enjoys the class, families are responsible for contacting the administrative office at least 24 hours after the trial to secure enrollment in the class.
Yes, we do offer private lessons at our facility. Private lessons are one-on-one sessions with a coach, allowing for more personalized instruction and focused skill development.
Private lessons are arranged directly between the coach and the family. Coaches are responsible for all aspects of a private lesson. To get started, you can visit our website, go to the “About Us”(/aboutus) section, and click on a coach’s profile. From there, you’ll find a “Book a Private” option below their picture that allows you to contact the coach directly to let them know what you’re looking for, availability, and rates.
Our monthly tuition ensures that each student receives a minimum of four classes per month. If the gym must close due to a holiday or emergency and this four-class guarantee is affected, we will notify families and issue a make-up pass (Open Gym Pass) that can be used during one of our Sunday Open Gym sessions. If the cancelled class falls on a fifth class in that month, an Open Gym pass will not be issued.
Families are welcome to bring decorations such as banners, streamers, and other party decor. You may use tape or thumbtacks to hang decorations in the party room. Balloons are also allowed, but must remain in the party room due to the high ceilings in other areas of the gym.
We provide two standard rectangular folding tables, with additional tables available if needed, as well as multiple folding chairs for your guests. We also have a small fridge available to store a cake, desserts, and a few snacks or drinks.
Please note that piñatas are not permitted.
