Welcome to the I Flip Gymnastics Acro Team!
Acrobatic Gymnastics, or “Acro,” is a dynamic and collaborative sport where athletes compete in pairs or groups of 2, 3, or 4. Each routine combines balance skills (static holds), dynamic elements (tosses and catches), individual skills (such as flexibility and tumbling), as well as dance and choreography to create a complete performance.
Our athletes train between 2 to 5 days per week, depending on their level. There are several competitive pathways within our program:
-
Pre-Team (Levels 3–4): Competes at local events, focusing on skill development and performance fundamentals.
-
Junior Olympic Team (Levels 5–10): Competes at the State, Regional, and National levels.
-
FIG Team: Competes at the elite level, with opportunities to represent our gym as well as Team USA in international competitions.
